Honolulu, HI 1989 - 1990

Discovery Airways was a Hawaii inter-island operator. There was a question raised regarding foreign ownership. During the investigation, the DOT issued a nine months provisional certificate and flights began March 25, 1990. Failing to dispute these allegations, the company shut down on July 13, 1990. The owners then went to the United Kingdom to start up Debonair in 1996 and used the same livery and logo as Discovery.
